Man Disappeared Right Before Pleading Guilty to Sexually Assaulting and Raping a 15 YO

It was prime exemplification of a Truth or Dare game gone wrong.

Back in 2017, a 15-year-old girl had become inebriated while playing a game of “truth or dare” with a group of guys.

Seizing the opportunity, two of the guys went on to sexually assault her while she was vulnerable.

One even raped her.

The victim was ‘drifting in and out of consciousness’ but was aware that she was being sexually violated.

She later revealed she had been raped.

Thankfully, justice was ultimately served. On 27 July 2020, the 19-year-old (at the time) was sentenced to nine years’ jail and nine strokes of the cane.

Meanwhile, his co-accused was expected to plead guilty in court today (22 March).

Though unfortunate in nature, it appears that the girl may, at long last, be able to move on after everything that has been done to her.

Or at least, that’s how the story was supposed to go.

According to Lianhe Zaobao, the 21-year-old defendant, who was 17 years old at the time of the crime, has disappeared.

According to the news report, he suddenly complained of stomach pain at breakfast, and headed off to the toilet.

He did not surface again.

The defendant was due to face a total of 7 charges in court, including an attempt to rape the victim, intrusion into the girl’s private parts with his fingers, and forcing her to perform oral sex. He was expected to plead guilty at 10 am this morning.

In light of the unexpected turn of events, the court has reportedly revoked the man’s bail.

An arrest warrant has also been issued for the defendant.

Truth Or Dare

According to previous reports, the girl got to know of the two boys alongside two other guys in September 2017. They would meet up occasionally around Pasir Ris.

On 17 October 2017, they met up at a coffee shop at Block 445, Pasir Ris Drive 6.

She didn’t want to join at first, but upon hearing that a guy who was particularly ‘protective’ of her would be present, she reluctantly agreed.

They then began playing truth or dare which included sexual questions and dares.

Apparently, she declined to answer several questions, and hence had to drink the beer.

When the 19-year-old returned to the group after meeting their friends, the victim had already drunk four cans of beer.

One of the boys then asked the 21-year-old and 19-year-old whether they wanted to have sex with the victim. At first, they thought it was a joke.

Despite that, they went to purchase three condoms for $1 at a shop.

At around 4am the group got ready to leave but the victim couldn’t walk as she was intoxicated. They took turns to carry her on their backs.

She stopped to urinate at a corner of Block 557, Pasir Ris Street 51 and the 21-year-old and 19-year-old waited while the other boys left first.

She laid down on the ground and began to vomit. This was when the two boys thought it would be a good idea to touch her breasts over her top. They then sexually penetrated her using their fingers.

The 21-year-old proceeded to rape her. After that, the 19-year-old tried to do the same but he failed to keep an erection. Instead, he rubbed his penis against her private area before making her give him oral sex.

As she was drunk, she was too weak to do anything.

The two of the boys then dressed her and called the other boy from the group for help. The victim told the other boy that she had been raped.

Later, she called the police as the 19-year-old kept denying that he had raped her. Both perpetratos were arrested that same day.
