I love KFC’s popcorn chicken.

And even that’s an understatement.

In fact, if you were to ask me to play shoot, shag, marry with KFC’s Popcorn Chicken and two of my other great loves, Durian and my beloved Aunt Matilda, I would answer in a heartbeat:

Such is my love for it.

But here’s the thing. I would absolutely love to consume the heavenly mixture of batter and chicken daily, but there’s just one barrier obstructing that notion from becoming reality. And no I’m not talking about the sheer amount of calories at hand.

I’m talking about the price.

Because at $4.50, it’s not exactly the cheapest meal you can find in the vicinity.

Sad, but then again there’s got to be a reason why Thanos wanna reduce everything by half in the first place.

So really, you can only imagine my surprise, and utmost disbelief, when I found out that KFC has introduced a spanking new offer for its Popcorn Chicken:

$1.95 Popcorn Chicken with the purchase of any meal.

Yeah, I know what you’re thinking.

Did the Mad Titan snap his fingers after all?

Well, thankfully, it seems that he has not, considering how my Aunt Matilda is still alive and well and honestly speaking, she’ll probably be the first to go had the gauntlet genuinely activated. 

Just kidding, Aunt Matilda.

No, rather, the promotion seems to have stemmed from pure good-heartedness on KFC’s part, and of course, a classic marketing gimmick to get everyone to purchase a meal. But hey you know what? I’ll take it.

Do take note, however, that you’ll have to pay with PayLah or DBS/POSB cards in order to qualify for the promotion, and that it’s available now till 11 June or while stocks last.
