In case you haven’t heard, fast food restaurants in Singapore are busy coming up with their own CNY flavours for Singaporeans this year.
McDonald’s has their salted egg loaded fries and peach pie (which failed pretty badly).
Pizza Hut has Ji Li Crab pizza.
Burger King has their Mentaiko burgers.
And KFC has their Truffle Parmesan Chicken.
Now, when it comes to new flavours, KFC is one underdog that consistently prove themselves.
And it’s no different when it comes to their latest product.
Despite the fact that we don’t have enough money to feed the office cat, we managed to convince (read: rob the heck out of) our boss and get the chicken in for a review.
And oh boy, did we not regret it.

According to my gluttonous colleague who managed to eat almost everything (I had a crumb. Of batter. That unfortunately wasn’t smeared with the cheese), it’s heavenly.
Here’s his gem of wisdom:
I knew he had the lowest pay in the office for a reason.
Okay, but seriously, it doesn’t look impressive.
But the taste. Oh, the taste.
The skin is crispy, and so every bite is crunchy. While there’s Parmesan sprinkled on it, the skin is a fusion of cheese and honey.
In other words, a solid 11/10.
But Now, You Have One More Reason To Get It For Yourself
From now until 19 Feb 2019, you can get your hands on 3 pieces of this heavenly chicken at just $8.
…for both delivery
That’s provided you use a DBS or POSB card (both credit or debit, excluding AMEX cards) to make full payment for your meal.
The promo is valid at all KFC outlets except KFC KidZania and Sentosa.
Now, if you’re eating with a group of friends? You’ll have to queue up over and over again because the offer is limited to 1 redemption per transaction.
Other Terms and Conditions Apply:
- Not valid with other promo codes, offers and discounts.
- Includes 1 drumstick/wing and a mixture of chicken parts for the rest.
KFC’s Other Promo For DBS/POSB Cardholders
By the way, in case you’ve missed it, this isn’t the first prollaboration (promotion + collaboration) that DBS/POSB is doing with KFC.
They have another one for healthier people out there.
From now until 31 Jan, as long as you pay with a DBS or POSB card, you’ll be able to redeem this deal. Yes. As easy as that.
The promo is applicable for dine-in, takeaway as well as delivery.
But make sure to be fast because it’s only valid for the first 14,000 redemptions or while stocks last.
Each customer is limited to one redemption per transaction.
If you decide to go to the store physically, make sure you order via the counter as this promotion isn’t valid via the self-ordering kiosk.
Full payment must be made with DBS/POSB cards for it to be valid.
You can read the full terms and conditions of the promo here.

The Coca-Cola Plus Coffee has arrived in Singapore, and let’s just say that the taste is very subjective: one of us thinks it’s like coffee candy, one of us thinks it’s like carbonated dark chocolate milk and one of us think it’s like Vanilla Coke. However, none of us thinks that it’s worth a second try, simply because we’ll all rather have Coke and coffee separately.
