Burger King May Day Promotion

First thing first, we’re not talking about them

If you recognise them, you’re probably an uncle or auntie now.

The spiffy sounding name comes from the fact that they’re running their promotion in May. The day before May, to be exact.

The Long Chicken Burger

According to Burger King, this is how they want you to imagine their burger to be like:

Tasty chicken with crunchy lettuce and creamy mayo served on a long seven-inch sesame seed bun.

And it looks like this:

According to people who’ve eaten it before (read: me since I’m your only choice):

But.

But.

The taste is as amazing as promised, especially with the crispy patty. Can’t taste any crunchiness from the lettuce, though.

But then again, we’d prefer the crunch to come from the chicken patty than puny vegetables, right?

So Is The Promotion Worth It?

Hell, yeah.

Go for it.

A Long Chicken Burger Set costs $8.40 according to FoodPanda’s delivery service.

If you were to get the Long Chicken Burger (ala carte), cheesy fries ($2.50) and a good old Malty Float Gao – think milo float – at $3.20 and it adds up to $8.30.

Cheaper than the usual set with better items.

Don’t say we bojio, eh? 😉
