Because instead of their usual 1-for-1 deals, they’re now running a buy 2 get 1 free promo, perfect if you have friends or are just particularly thirsty.

From now until 7 July, make your way to any Starbucks outlet to enjoy a buy-2-get-1-free promo on handcrafted beverages.
But there’s a catch.
To be eligible for the reward, you’ll have to have a Starbucks card and download their Starbucks app (if you haven’t already).
Simply let their barista know that you’d like to redeem the reward, pay via Starbucks card via the Starbucks app, and Ta-da! Enjoy.
