Certified foodies can now rejoice over their favourite xiao long baos at Din Tai Fung for less. How so? Thanks to the newly opened outlet at City Square, Johor Bahru a few months ago.
JB City Square
Din Tai Fung’s first outlet across border gives us another reason to visit JB. Yeap, due to the favourable exchange rate, we can now enjoy the food at Din Tai Fung at a much cheaper price!
Famous for its xiao long baos, Din Tai Fung is ranked as one of the world’s Top Ten Best Restaurants by The New York Times, as well as certified by one Michelin Star.
Prices are in Malaysian Ringgits and cost about 30-40% lesser as compared to Singapore. For example, their famous Pork Xiao Long Bao costs about RM13.20/6pcs or RM21.00/10pcs. That is equivalent to about S$4.19 or S$6.67 respectively based on current exchange rate.
Isn’t it killing two birds with one stone? With its good food and cheaper prices, I’m sure we’ll be going back in no time!
