The Pokemon craze is back, and it’s not just limited to the older folks who’re catching Pokemons in every corner of Singapore.
The live-action Pokemon movie, Detective Pikachu, did crazily well for a game-based film: as of today, it has earned over USD$356.9 million against a budget of USD$150 million, and it’s still screening in theatres.
Forbes even called it “the best video game movie ever” which I concur, though my colleague, who’s a Pokemon fan, consider it just average.
So it’s not surprising that with this success, someone’s going to come out with an EZ-Link charm based on the franchise. If Pikachu is way too mainstream or expensive, then maybe a Psyduck would suffice. That duck is lit.
However, we get this instead.
Which is just as good, because it’s Eevee!
No sane person would ever reject this first-gen rabbit-eared cat-like Pokemon, which can evolve into eight different Pokemons.
Available in Buzz Convenience Stores From 30 May 2019
Unlike other viral and hyper-cute EZ-Link charms that are usually found in online platforms like Shopee or Lazada, this latest one would be stocked exclusively in Buzz Convenience Stores instead.
Lest you find the name familiar but can’t remember what the store is, here’s an image for your reference:
Yeah, it’s often located near an MRT station so you know where to go this Thursday morning!
It’ll be sold for $29.90 without any value, but let’s face it: it’s not about the price.
It’s about the availability. I don’t need a crystal ball to know that it’ll be sold out on the same day.
But don’t worry; we’ve one in our office and are giving it to one of you.
Giveaway of EZ-Link Charm
EZ-Link is kind enough to send us one of these cuties, and despite everyone in the office trying to steal it, we’ve locked Eevee in our safe and decided to conduct a giveaway instead, because we love our readers.
(Actually is because we want more Instagram followers)
Simply follow us on Instagram and follow the instructions below, and we’ll choose one winner!
All the best~!
