Singaporeans love their castella cakes; there are numerous bakeries dishing out these fluffy confections the likes of Le Castella, Original Cake and Ah Ma Homemade cake.
Now, there will be another player joining the fray— Grand Castella Cake.
It opened its first store in Nex yesterday.
They will be offering three flavours—original, cheese, chocolate and pandan (a flavour that is well-loved by Singaporeans).
As part of their grand opening, they will be having a 1-for-1 promotion on their cakes till today (8 Dec).
They close at 10 P.M., so better chiong after work, while stocks last.

According to Straits Times, a second outlet will be opening at the basement of Raffles City Shopping Mall by end of the year.
It is not in the west but at least it is nearer than Serangoon.
