Don’t Say Bojio: New Bedok Shop Selling 1.5L Fanta at $0.50 & More

In case you missed it: my colleague’s pet gerbil Boba’s turned 2 recently!

But there was just one thing we regretted in the celebration for Boba. In order to provide the best for Boba, we had to cheap out on the drinks and drink tap water instead.

If I had known about this new Bedok shop, then perhaps we wouldn’t need to be like peasants filling our cups at the toilets while other workers in the building throw us dirty looks.

So yeah, you already read this from the headline: 1.5L Fanta selling at S$0.50… and more.

Hold on a moment. Don’t rush in yet. You might be tempted to go all Black Friday on this, but the Fanta deal is only limited to 2 bottles per customer because of the overwhelming response.

It wouldn’t be fair if a Goody Feed writer bought everything already right?

But there are more good deals

It is a supermarket, so they sell a variety of other stuff too. Like Asian story at S$1 for 6 packets. Yeah, you heard that right. S$1 for 6 packets, not 1.

Or maybe you’re more of the Yeo’s kind of guy, who want to support a larger local company. It’s S$6.95 for 24 packets here, coming in at S$0.29 per packet. Only Chrysanthemum Tea is visible here, but I expect there to be other flavours as well.

For a little something gassier, you have Coca Cola going at S$9.90 for 24 cans. A price check at NTUC online is S$13.75.

There are cheap fruits too

And just in case you think they’re all about drinks only, I remind you that they are a supermarket. Which means stuff like coconuts, going at S$1.80.

Moneydews, I mean Honeydews, at S$1.

And whole watermelons for S$2.20.

And if you’re asking why they are able to charge such low prices, I can’t really tell you anything except magic.

Hershey Chocolate Spread and OREO ICE CREAM!

Though, a little research on the following S$3.30 Hershey Cocoa spread shows that it is likely an Indian product.

I doubt all the products in the store are from India, but I’ll assume that this means they know where to source their suppliers.

In fact, they are so good at sourcing, this is one of those indie supermarkets we talked about with the Oreo Ice Cream.

Cheap drinks and novel ice cream. What more can I ask for? Just make sure to take note of the country of production, if that is something you think makes a difference.

I can only blame my dumb colleagues for spending the company budget on stupid things like a birthday party for a gerbil.

Whoops! I meant, if only we discovered this earlier, then we would have utilised our budget better and thrown an unforgettable party with endless amounts of drinks.
