Tell me, are you a fan of One Piece?
No matter who you go crazy for, be it Luffy, Zoro or Nami or Chopper, you’ll need to know one exciting news.
You can now get not one, not three but all of them to accompany you on your daily journey around Singapore.
One Piece EZ-Link Cards Now Up For Grabs
From now until the day where the cards get sold out (which should be quite soon), you can make your way to any Golden Village (GV) cinemas and buy one of the two (or both) EZ-Link cards with One Piece designs.
Each EZ-Link card will set you back by $10 per card and it comes with no load value.
It’s double the price of usual EZ-Link cards, which usually cost $12, but has a load value of $7.
In other words, the amount you’re paying for the card is a mere 5 bucks.
But hey, one thing for sure, you know you’re going to get your money’s worth.
At least according to this gentleman who managed to get his hands on both of them.
But Better Be Fast
Because judging by the reception of netizens towards EZ-Link’s post? The cards are going to sell out fast.
Yes, at the time of writing, the post has managed to garner over 2.3k shares.
Now, imagine their usual Facebook posts (sharing about new designs), which only has about a couple hundreds of shares, and sometimes not even that.
And yes, there are times where EZ-Link cards in Singapore get sold out faster than Goody Feed’s giveaways.
Plus, people have already reported that cards are running low.
So don’t wait liao, get your friends to go watch a movie and buy the EZ-Link cards for yourself at the same time.
Or.
You can just make your way down to buy the cards specifically. Whichever floats your boat, man.
Do You Really Need So Many EZ-Link Cards?
While I was writing this article, my boss suddenly texted me and asked, “Why is it another EZ-Link card article? How many cards do you expect them to buy? You don’t need so many EZ-Link cards to take bus, right?“
Well, EZ-Link cards aren’t just for taking public transport in Singapore. That’s like saying we use toilet paper only for cleaning our ass.
There are other stuff you can do with EZ-Link cards too.
Like collecting limited edition EZ-Link card designs and selling them on Carousell…okay, I’m kidding, don’t do that. Don’t be an unethical scalper.
But here are 10 other places you can buy stuff with your EZ-Link card, in case you’re too lazy to bring your entire wallet out.
There are makan places like Burger King, clinics like Healthway Medical Group or even supermarkets like Cold Storage.
Oh, yeah, Mr Fatty Boss of Baddy Feed: EZ-Link cards aren’t just to take buses, you idiot.
