We’ve written many Don’t Say Bojio deals, and some of them are quite popular—so popular, some retailers even contacted us and wanted us to update the article because they’re sold out their products.

But in the 189 years of writing our Don’t Say Bojio articles, we’ve never come across one that’s so popular, even celebrities couldn’t resist the deal and make their way down.

This would be the first.

So I guess it’s safe to say that celebrities are also eyeing for good deals, because they, too, are Singaporeans.

Far Ocean Warehouse Sale

If you’ve not heard of Far Ocean before, I don’t blame you: after all, we don’t exactly look at the brand of seafood or meat whenever we buy them.

But with it being one of the distributors of seafood, meats, cold cuts and even condiments in Singapore, chances are you’d have bought one of their products before.

And with this warehouse sale, you’re going to know more about them because we’re talking about 70% off seafood and meat products that’re going to be perfect for your CNY steamboat needs.

The Far Ocean Singapore Annual Chinese New Year Sale is taking place in three weekends:

  • 19 & 20 January
  • 26 & 27 January
  • 2 & 3 February

Opening hours would be from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

And remember what was mentioned earlier?

Our childhood imaginary girlfriend Jeanette Aw was there earlier today (19 January 2019)…

…and so was actor Rayson Tan.

Aiyoyo.

So, what can you get from there?

Well, you can get anything you need for your steamboat needs, from seafood, meat and fresh produce.

For example, you can get black tiger prawns for $20 per 1kg to Hokkaido scallops for $20 per 1kg as well.

There are even half-shell abalones at $20 for five pieces, so if you want to “act high-SES” this CNY with low-SES prices, this is the place to be.

In addition, there are products that are packed and priced at a “buy-more-pay-less” style:

  • Buy 1 packet and it’s $15 each
  • Buy 2 packets and it’s $12 each
  • Buy 3 packets or more and it’s $10 each
  • Buy 10 packets and get one packet free (that’s like $9 per packet!)

Gather your uncles aunties cousins cats or dogs there so you’ll save more!

Check out this video to see some of the packets:

They even have a live video to show how packed the area is, so it’ll be best to be there early:

And don’t worry: it isn’t at the far end of Tuas (though it’s still rather far for people who don’t live around the area).

If you’re taking public transport, alight at Lakeside MRT Station and go down to the bus stop (there’s only one bus stop there; do not cross the road to the overhead bridge).

Take bus 98 from that bus stop and alight 16 stops later at “Bef Jln Buroh” (B22149).

After that, use your GPS to navigate to this building:

Go back the same way, though if you want to, you can just take 98 all the way to Jurong East MRT Station!
