FDW Filmed Kissing & Touching Guy in Front of Wheelchair-Bound Employer at Jurong West Void Deck

Those of us who have been in love will know how intoxicating it can be.

It feels like all our worries have been drowned in the sea while we’re sucked up into the clouds, walking on air.

And when you’re in love, there’s a natural impulse to express that love through affection. This is why you see young couples hugging and cuddling on public transport while old uncles and aunties go tsk tsk disapprovingly, forgetting that they, too, once did the same thing.

However, there’s a time and place for these displays of affection, which usually excludes a void deck with your employer.

A picture of a domestic helper indulging in a very public display of affection with a man at a void deck in Jurong West has made the rounds online.

It was first shared on the Instagram group @sgfollowsall yesterday (11 Nov).

In the picture, a woman can be seen kissing a man, presumably her boyfriend, while seated on his lap. Across from the erotically charged couple sat an elderly lady, who’s in a wheelchair.

It appears that the woman in the wheelchair was the helper’s employer, which implied that either:

  1. The couple enjoyed being watched
  2. Love had literally blinded them and they could not see anyone else
  3. They were aware of the lady’s presence, but didn’t care about being watched

It’s only when the couple realised that they were being photographed that they stopped kissing, but continued to act in an “inappropriate” manner.

Meanwhile, the elderly woman reportedly made eye contact with people passing by, looking helpless. The couple later shifted to another block.

It was raining when the helper finally took her employer home, but the helper did not use an umbrella.

Is PDA Allowed?

According to Singapore Legal Advice, kissing in public is not punishable under Singapore Law.

However, nudity in public places, or appearing in the nude in a private place that can be seen by members of the public is unlawful and can even land you in jail. This includes engaging in sexual acts, of course.

So, in the eyes of the law, this couple did nothing wrong, unless their hands were in places they shouldn’t have been.

However, it’s typically frowned upon for couples to assault each other with their mouths in the presence of other people, especially while they’re supposed to take care of someone.
