Homebuyers looking for a Bishan BTO flat with a shorter wait will have an option in February 2027: about 1,070 flats in Sin Ming with waiting times of under three years.
The launch will also include Mount Pleasant’s second Build-To-Order (BTO) project. Altogether, HDB plans to offer about 4,300 flats across five projects in Bishan, Toa Payoh, Tampines and Tengah.
Bishan Project Will Have Waits Of Under Three Years
The Sin Ming project will offer 520 two-room flexi flats, 80 three-room flats and 470 four-room flats. A supermarket and a pre-school are also planned.
Mount Pleasant Gets A Second Project
In Toa Payoh, the next Mount Pleasant project will have about 1,140 flats, comprising two-room flexi, three-room and four-room units.
It will be next to the future Mount Pleasant MRT station on the Thomson-East Coast Line.
This follows Mount Pleasant Crest, the estate’s first BTO project, which launched in October 2025.
Five-Room Flats In Tampines And Tengah
Tampines will have two projects catering to different housing needs.
A 460-unit development at Simei Road and Upper Changi Road will offer two-room flexi to five-room flats. It will be near Upper Changi and Expo MRT stations.
The other project, in Tampines Street 11, will have about 330 flats: 240 Community Care Apartments and 90 four-room units. It will be Tampines’ first project with Community Care Apartments.
These apartments combine housing designed for seniors with care services and social activities to support independent living.
Tengah’s project will be in the Brickland district, with about 1,280 flats ranging from two-room flexi to five-room units.
Get HFE Documents Ready By 15 December
HDB will also hold a Sale of Balance Flats exercise offering about 5,000 flats alongside the February BTO launch.
Buyers need a valid HDB Flat Eligibility (HFE) letter to apply. The letter sets out their eligibility to buy a flat, receive CPF housing grants and take an HDB housing loan, including the grant and loan amounts.
HDB encourages those planning to join the February 2027 sales exercises to apply for their HFE letter early and submit all required documents by 15 December 2026.
