More Floods—I mean, Rain—in the First Half of Nov 2017

Unless you are living under a rock or away on holiday, you would have known that Singapore experienced flash floods on one of the last few days of October.

It was pretty bad.

I guess it is a prelude to November’s weather as NEA released an advisory saying that we better be prepared for more thundery showers in the first half of November.

As much as I would like to believe that this is the work of Storm from X-men…

…it’s actually that we are approaching monsoon season.

Expect moderate to heavy thunderstorm, mostly in the afternoon and they might last till evening—so bring an umbrella to work!

Nothing sucks more than getting your socks wet.

There will also be two or three days of thundery showers and gusty winds in the mornings.

The struggle to get to work is REAL.

You might think that the temperature might drop a little but no—the daily maximum temperature could reach a high of 34 degrees Celsius.

The daily temperature will fluctuate between 24 degrees Celsius to 33 degrees Celsius.

We all know the weather can be temperamental—just like our partners—so I would think it would be wise to check the weather forecast before you leave your house.

All in all, there is going to be a deluge of rain and lots of thunder in November!

I am just happy that I can finally put my Hunter wellies to good use.
