Doing stupid things is dumb. Doing stupid things and posting them online is even dumber.
Yet, there are still people who continued to do so for unknown reasons, like this man.
Man Flouted 5-Day MC Rules After Posting Himself Going Out During MC Period On IG Stories
On 10 May, Facebook page All Singapore Stuff posted a series of screenshots of a man’s Instagram stories which showed him seemingly flouting the 5-day MC rules.

In his image, he showed a 5-day MC, complaining about how he couldn’t use it anyway:
“I only want today MC. Why you give me five day? Uncle even you gave me five day I also can’t use la.”
The MC specifically said he has to stay home for 5 days “by law”.
Unfortunately, he allegedly did not stay home.
His next story shows him at Waterway Point, queueing up for Jollibee with the caption:
The first time I came to Singapore’s Punggol. Turns out during CB, so many people like going to NTUC. No wonder so many confirmed case haha
Talk about irony.

And turns out, he might not have come out simply to get some fresh air.
Turns out, he allegedly met friends as well:
Finally saw you guys after a month.
A snap later also showed him taking the MRT, saying how he’ll take the CPA (Certified Public Accountant) exam “later”.

The Consequences
Nobody knows why the guy allegedly did what he did.
For fame? For laughs? No one knows.
But we do know what might happen to him, though.
People who are on 5-day MC are not allowed to leave their homes.
If they do so, they could be fined up to $10,000 or jailed for up to 6 months.

They should also wear a mask even at home.
The only time people on the 5-day MC can leave their house is if they’re going out to seek medical treatment.
