Foreign workers in Singapore, are the reason why we always have new infrastructures in Singapore.
From construction to maintaining the cleanliness of our streets, they are Singapore’s backbone in a way.
I mean, none of us (including me) would want to work under the merciless heat, covered in sweat and dirt.
Every time I see a foreign worker, I will nod or smile to show my appreciation and sometimes I hope that they will have a happy ending in life.
There is one guy who got his happy ending and his name is Karrupaiah Gobinath.
Look at this handsome dude over here. Now that is the face of someone who just won the Big Sweep—S$2.3 million!
I can imagine him winning. Literally.
Because who hasn’t imagined themselves striking it big, be it 4D, Toto or the Singapore Big Sweep?
His winning has gone viral all over social media.
He is seen holding an iPhone with a picture of the elusive winning ticket.
And here’s the result of September’s draw:
I mean, it doesn’t really mean he won.
He could have just gotten the photo of the winning ticket from someone else.
But Facebook User, Jay Tan, also added a picture of the cheque that is addressed to, Karrupaiah Gobinath.
Looking at the cheque, it was issued on 13 Sep 2017 and hopefully, he has banked it in.
But what struck me as odd was the fact that he actually told people about it (and even took a picture).
I mean if it was me, I would have kept mum until my cheque has been cleared.
Wouldn’t want to jinx it, right?
It is not sure what he is going to do with that money and if he is going to continue working in Singapore.
But one thing is for sure, he is 2.3million dollars richer and the Goody Feed team wish him all the luck!
Netizens also expressed their well wishes on social media.
Not that I am encouraging you to gamble, but the odds of winning is definitely higher when you buy a lottery ticket.
Anyway, any money you spend at Singapore Pools is actually for a good cause. #JustSaying #WeDontEncourageGamblingBeyondYourMeansThough
