Claypot Crab Kut Teh
What? Bak Kut Teh but with crab? If there’s any time you should be trying crazy things like that, it’s in a seafood buffet.
For those wondering if it’s too peppery, relax. This is closer to Cantonese style Bak Kut Teh, full of herby goodness. But of course, you’re not here for the soup.
Tearing off the meat from the shell took little effort, and the spices infused into the juicy crab meat made me think of herbal eggs. Yeah, sounds weird, right? But I assure you this is good.
Singapore Chili Crab and Salted Egg Yolk Crab
Can’t forget the classics right? Why eat at a seafood restaurant when you can have more choices here?
For those looking for a spicier kick, a hotter version of the sauce is by the side for you to drizzle over your serving.
And don’t quote me on this, but the salted egg is now a classic.
Just remember to lick the savoury, salty goodness as your stuffing crab meat into your mouth.
