How many times do you wish that your girlfriend would understand your need for DOTA, so much so you have to give up some of your couple time together?
Well, with one of these five girls, you’re going to get your wish. Not only will she understand your need for the game, she’ll join you too!
Sounds perfect? Almost, because she’s going to utterly trash you as well. Ouch, talk about ego busting.
Meet Grills Gaming, the Malaysian All-Girls DOTA 2 Team
Don’t let their looks distract you. Okay, go ahead and enjoy the picture for a couple of seconds.
Okay, ready? Well, as I was saying, in team Grills Gaming is Bette Chia (istarx), Tiffani Lim (Oling), Wong Wei Sian (TimunSama), Nicole Lim (Catosaurus) and their leader, Stephanie Lim (auroraa).
Female SEA League 4 DOTA 2 Champions
The Female SEA League (FSL) 4 took place on 14 Jan 2017 and the girls beat Thailand team DIA 2-1 to clinch first place. Some other teams they played against include Asterisk* from Singapore, Mint AU from Australia and NXA from Indonesia.
The Team Was Formed Specifically for the FSL 4
And here’s something even more interesting: this is their first League together. They decided to join together as a team specifically for FSL 4 and managed to walk away with the championship title. Pretty impressive, no?
Here’s some DOTA jargon for those who played the game before.
Auroraa typically controls the mid lane and is in charge of the team’s strategy. Oling is the support who usually saves her team in emergency situations while TimunSama plays roaming support.
Catosaurus usually plays supporting roles and carry as needed while Istarx plays carry. Carry is gaming terms for heroes who are pathetically weak in early game but becomes godlike in late game, as long as the player knows how to farm and grow her character.
Now tell me, aren’t they like a dream come true?
