Back in June, Temasek Holdings CEO, Ho Ching touched on a suggestion given by some folks – to give incentives for vaccinated individuals. These suggestions are in efforts to increase the rate of vaccination.
Although the idea was not officially launched, some organisations have already acted on these suggestions such as providing free fries for people who are vaccinated.
Meanwhile, our local golden cinema brand has also jumped on the bandwagon.
Golden Village Introduces ‘Vaxed Halls’ for People Who Are Fully Vaccinated
Golden Village has just launched the “Vaxed Halls” for people who are fully vaccinated.
Image: Golden VillageAside from getting a greater peace of mind, one is also able to enjoy exclusive perks especially for them. Perks include a free drink with the purchase of nachos or regular popcorn or hotdog or cheesy meatball and a member’s giveaway opportunity.
5 lucky GV members who watched a movie in the Vaxed Halls will stand a chance to walk away with free movie tickets and stay at LYF Funan worth S$380 each.
All these perks are only valid from 16 to 28 July and only available to patrons who are fully vaccinated 14 days after their second dose. In short, it’s too late to reschedule your second dose of vaccine now if you are still waiting on your appointment.
The COVID-19 vaccine that you’ve chosen must be under the National Vaccination Programme – Pfizer-BioNTech/ Comiranty and Moderna vaccines.
Sorry, Sinovac vaccine takers.

How to Prove that You are Fully Vaccinated?
If you’ve received your second dose of vaccination and have passed the 14 days mark, congratulations! You are able to participate in the draw and get your free drink.
All you have to do is to present your vaccination status via TraceTogether or HealthHub app at all GV outlets and you are able to redeem this promotion.
Why is GV doing this?
In case you are wondering why is our local cinema brand doing this, it is because they want to show their support to Singapore’s nationwide vaccination initiative. GV wants to achieve stronger collective protection in a bid to encourage the community to be fully vaccinated.
This launch is also part of Golden Village’s mission of being ‘more than just a movie.’
This new Max Perks launch is their way of incentivising the community to get vaccinated. Every shot counts. This initiative also helps ensure that patrons of GV will have a safe and enjoyable experience.
