Violent Man Who Kicked Shelf in Guardian Was Arrested for Shop Theft & Disorderly Behaviour

You might have seen this video making its round on Facebook today:

It shows a few  police officers having to restrain a man who said, “Relax lah.”

People on the background were discussing the arrest, saying that he had not been compliance with instructions.

It seemed so as officers have to use force to cuff him.

And he was not happy after being arrested as he kicked a shelf while being taken away, which caused items to drop on the floor as people around him go, “Gosh.”

Poor officers.

With him not wearing a mask, could it be that he had been arguing about the new rules, whereby people now have to wear a mask before they can enter a supermarket, convenience store, pharmacy and shopping mall?

Apparently not.

Arrested for Disorderly Behaviour & Shop Theft

According to STOMP, the police said that the man was arrested for disorderly behavoiur and shop theft.

The incident happened today at about 2:20pm in a Guardian outlet at Block 190 Lorong 6 Toa Payoh.

And anyways, one of the police officers was kind enough to pick up his hat and put it on for him, like a father putting on the cap for a son who’s graduated from Basic Military Training:

Masks Required in All Supermarkets, Convenience stores, Pharmacies and Shopping Malls

In case you didn’t know, starting from yesterday (12 April 2020), anyone who visits a supermarket, convenience store, pharmacy and shopping mall would have to put on a mask, if not he or she would be denied entry.

Which begs the question of how the man managed to enter in the first place, and even managed to steal something.

In addition, everyone should also be wearing a mask in public transport, which will be made compulsory soon.

So if you still didn’t have a mask and didn’t get your free reusable one from the Government, then you’d better buy one somewhere, because without one, you’d be essentially stuck at home.
