Gudetama, also known as the iconic apathetic and lazy egg character, is set to open a cafe here in end November. The news was announced just yesterday (16th October), with a new Instagram account for the cafe and it has already garnered more than 1000 followers.

The Sanrio character has been a culinary hit in Hong Kong and has been featured in dim sum and Japanese curry dishes and even in a McDonald’s meal set. For those who haven’t heard the news yet, here’s what you need to know.

1. It will be located at a prime location
The latest cafe will be open at the ground level of Suntec City, #01-361 which will replace The House of Robert Timms.
2. It’s coming to us really soon
Its estimated date of opening will be around end-November.
3. The presentation of the food will be flawless
