Husband Brings Wife Who is Serving SHN Her Favourite Food; Eats With Her From Outside Her Window

Once in a while, stories like this pop up and we think, maybe chivalry isn’t dead after all.

We’ve all heard fairy tales like this before: a valiant knight waiting below the ivory tower in which his beloved is kept, conjuring up ways to free her from capture.

Unfortunately, this is 2021, and while there is no curse to lift or malevolent witches to defeat, a highly infectious respiratory disease lies in wait to consume those foolish enough to attempt escape.

However, one husband found a way to work around this for his one true love, all the while adhering to safe distancing rules.

Here’s how he did it.

Husband Brings Wife Who is Serving SHN Her Favourite Food; Eats With Her From Outside Her Window

Natalia and her husband had been in a long-distance relationship for a while, as Natalia had been living in Japan for eight years. Her employment contract lasted till March 2021.

She was anticipating visits from her husband in 2020, but as we all know, travel restrictions and border closures delayed said visits multiple times.

They ended up sending postcards back and forth, hoping that time would pass by more quickly.

Natalia ended up flying over Singapore in March this year, and she began serving her 14-day Stay-Home Notice (SHN) in Sheraton Towers.

Her husband simply could not wait any longer to see her, and decided to bring her her favourite food while she served her SHN.

He brought her her favourite fruits and a box of macarons, and he even made mushroom risotto for the both of them and personally delivered it to her hotel.

But it doesn’t end there. Her husband then sat below the building outside her window where she had a clear view of him, and so, transcending physical distance and space, they ate their meal together.

I can hear the “aww’s” from romance fans. I know, it’s a better love story than Twilight.

Natalia jokingly apologised for her husband’s constant presence around the hotel in a post on a hotel quarantine Facebook group.

Her husband told her that he would try to pay her a visit every single day; some days he even came down after work just to see her, all the while keeping his distance.

Natalia’s SHN ends on Sunday, 4 April, and she intends to have a celebratory dinner with her husband and friends.

“I couldn’t ask for a better husband,” she says.

Indeed, this author can only wish that everyone may have such good luck in their romantic endeavours.

But if you need a little extra help, you may like to consider trying your luck with this witch in Singapore who offers love spells for those in need of some divine intervention.
