Are you a café hopper?

If so, there is one less aesthetic café for you to patronise from now on (though of course, we’re sure many more aesthetic cafes will come up in the future).

PS Café is a well-known brand to many of us locals and foreigners alike.

They are known for their truffle fries and sticky date toffee cake.

However, the popularity of their outlets was not enough to prevent the chain from closing their Tiong Bahru outlet, PS. Café Petit.

If you want to visit the popular café before it closes, you have a last chance to visit it before 31 October this year.

Here’s more about the café’s impending closure.

Café Petit at Tiong Bahru Will Be Closing on 31 October 2023

Earlier this week, a netizen posted on Facebook (one of the OG social media platforms) that PS. Café Petit at Tiong Bahru will be closing soon.

In the post, the netizen attached an image of an official physical announcement from the café.

Here is the image for your reference.

In the announcement, PS. Café says that it will be closing because it is “time for a change”.

However, the chain looked forward to continuing to meet and serve its loyal customers at “one of [their] other cafes”.

The chain thanked patrons for “being a part of [their adventure” as well.

The last day of operations for PS. Café Petit will be on 31 October 2023, so do hurry down if you want to dine at this popular establishment.

The café is located at No.41 Blk 78. Guan Chuan St, Singapore 160078 and open every day of the week.

Its operating hours on weekdays are 10 a.m. to 10.30 p.m. and 9 a.m. to 10.30 p.m. on weekends.

It Was Open for 13 Years

It sure is sad to see this café closing down.

After all, as alluded to in the official closure announcement, this café has been open for 13 years.

That’s a long period of time. Some people may even have grown up with the café.

This outlet is also very special because it was the “first to feature artisanal pizzas and exceptional curated retail wines within its retail offering”.

In a way, it was a breakthrough for the chain, whose other aesthetic outlets are not that atas.
