Remember the cafe that broke the internet back in 2016?
Yes, I’m talking about Non Entree Desserts, a cafe at Rangoon Road.
They made Singaporeans go crazy with their IG-worthy desserts that strike a chord with Singaporeans.
Things like Bak Chor Mee dessert
Made with passionfruit “noodles”, coconut parfait “fishball”, gula melaka crumble, pineapple crushed ice, red tea jelly, mango fluff.
Ang Ku Kueh
Made with red bean pandan mousse, Black sugar-infused dates curd cover, Yuzu scented jelly and shortbread.
Nasi Lemak
Made with coconut “Nasi”, Pandan Mousse, Gula Melaka sauce, Kuning fish tulip, Ikan bilis w/ lightly salted peanuts, and yoghurt mango half boiled egg!
And so much more.
No wonder Singaporeans are going all gaga over it, right?
Well, if you’ve always heard about it, but didn’t try it yet, this could be your last chance to do so.
Closing Down
On 1 Aug, this well-known cafe, which has been opened since 2015, announced its closure on its social media platforms.
They will close down on 20 Oct 2019.
While they did not specifically explain why they’re closing down, they mentioned that it was a challenge “balancing originality and commercial viability”.
They added that Non Entree was created to provide “fine-dining desserts at affordable prices” for the local mass-market consumers.
They thanked everyone for their support throughout their four years of journey and asked for people to visit them for one last blast before they close for good.
