There is probably nothing more iconic than the code number, 007. Say it once and everyone will know who you are referring to.
“My name is Bond. James Bond.”
Yeah, you get the drift. James Bond never fails to introduce himself in the coolest, most nonchalant way ever.
You know what’s even more iconic? The theme song of a James Bond film. *Cues music*
James Bond Makes An Epic Comeback In New ‘No Time To Die’ Trailer
That’s right, James Bond is back.
This time, he is making an epic comeback with the 25th James Bond film, No Time To Die.
This will be the last time Daniel Craig suits up as the charming British spy.
Here’s the synopsis:
Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help.
The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
If that didn’t capture your attention, maybe this little insight would:
After the events of Spectre, Bond went off with Madeleine Swann to live a peaceful life. However, he was betrayed by her for some reason. Since then, a new agent has stepped into his old role as agent 007, whom he finds himself partnered with on a new mission.
It’s pretty exciting; the dynamic in the movie is on a whole new level as there is now drama between Bond and his old lover, an uneasy alliance between him and his new replacement, as well as a new villain to spice things up – Safin, played by Rami Malek.
The film is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, who previously directed Jane Eyre, Beasts of No Nation and the entire first season of True Detective.
The final Bond outing includes Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Rory Kinnear, Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw and Jeffrey Wright.
The new characters, Safin, Paloma, and Nomi will be played by Rami Malek, Ana de Armas, and Lashana Lynch respectively.
No Time To Die will be released on 8 April 2020.
