This year is IU’s 10th year anniversary. And in celebration of such a special year, the 25-year-old is going to travel to several countries and hold her concerts.
One of which includes Singapore on 15 Dec.
According to her social media, she’ll be stopping by Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok and Taipei this December.
Not much is known about her concert in Singapore except it’s taking place at The Star Theatre.
But don’t worry, just keep paying attention to us because my boss here is a closet IU fan. I suspect he has a room in his home dedicated to IU, covering every inch with her face like a creep.
He’ll be sure to keep up to date on everything IU.
On a separate note, if you want to spend Christmas this year with IU, then you’ll need to travel all the way to Taipei.
IU: Acting, Singing, Songwriting
IU may have made huge strides in the music industry as a solo singer, known for her good looks and honeyed vocals, but she’s way more than that.
In fact, she was so good that she was awarded the “Best Songwriter” at the Melon Music Awards 2017, the “Lyricist of the Year” and “Producer of the Year” at the 7th Gaon Chart Music Awards
She had also branched out into acting and appearing in variety shows.
This talented young woman is good at acting, singing and writing her own songs.
She appeared in popular Korean drama, Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo as the main female lead.
Her acting was, then, criticised as awkward and unnatural.

Most people might’ve known about her acting career from that show, but she did a great job in another less well-known drama.
My Mister.
In the show, she was an emotionally-scarred woman who just lived from day to day, without any dreams or any hope of better days. She meets a middle-aged ahjussi who manages to rescue her from the nightmare that her life is.
Her portrayal of her role in My Mister will move you to tears.
While waiting for the real deal to come to Singapore, here’s her music video in collaboration with Zico: “SoulMate”
You’re welcome! 😉
