A divorce process is never smooth-sailing or easy. Most of the time, it’s nasty and could drag on and on due to issues in the relationship that still haven’t been resolved.

And it usually becomes a lot worse when the two parties involved in the divorce are well-known figures, and they choose to air their dirty laundry in public.

Or at least, one of the two chooses to do so.

Russian Ex-Wife Of Sultan Reveals Secret About Their Marriage

Rihana Oksana Veovodina, the Russian ex-wife of Sultan Muhammad V, recently revealed some of the secrets about her strained relationship and bitter divorce through an interview with Mail Online.

She shared the interview on her Instagram on Thursday, 3 October.

Oksana appeared composed and spoke in English throughout the five-minute interview.

Before that, she had hinted in one of her previous posts that she would share the story of what had happened to her marriage with her followers.

On 1 September, she posted a selfie with her ex-husband, with a part of the caption reading:

“I know that everyone really wants to know what happened to us.. Before, I was not ready to reveal my story… Maybe, if I tell you the truth, I will feel better…”

Well, I really don’t see why the details had to be shared with the public. How would it help either of them move on in peace if the whole world starting talking about them?

But apparently it helped her, which is why she did the interview.

How Their Wedding Went Wrong

The couple got married in a secret Islamic ceremony in the Malaysian state of Kelantan on 7 June 2018, and this was followed by a reception in Moscow in December.

Sources close to the former king revealed that the glittering reception was when the marriage started collapsing, as he had not been prepared for his bride to go public.

According to Mail Online, relatives said that he was noticeably uncomfortable when the reception turned into a “glitzy showbiz event” with singers and performers.

The king left Oksana in Moscow after that, when she was four months pregnant.

He Left In December And Never Came Back

Okay, and here’s the part where she spills the tea.

In the video, Oksana revealed that she had not seen the king since he had left her in Moscow in December last year.

This means that he still has not met his son, who was born in May.

“Well, he left in December and never came back. Actually I don’t know what exactly happened because everything was okay, we were expecting our first baby, and till now I still don’t understand what was the real reason,” said Oksana.

She also said that she has had no opportunity to discuss the situation of their relationship with him, despite contacting him and his family several times.

However, her face immediately lit up when she talked about Leon, the couple’s son, and she said she wishes that his father could see him now.

There have been rumours and doubts about whether or not Leon is actually the Sultan’s child, as Oksana had not taken her son for a DNA test.

“I think I have nothing to prove to anybody because he is his son, born in our marriage, he was a planned and desired baby, so I don’t think it’s necessary,” she clarified in the interview.

She spoke a bit more about her life as a single mom, and her plans for the future before ending off with a direct message for the Sultan.

“Wake up, you have a son, you are a father, and you are a royal, and no matter what happened to our marriage, I want my son to have both parents. And of course, think about your son. What will he think of you when he sees all these messages?”

In case you thought this interview meant that their public dispute was over, you thought wrong. Oksana plans to start a Youtube channel soon, where she will “answer many questions” if people are interested.

Looks like we’ll be hearing some more tea before we know it.
