Kingsman Fans, the New Kingsman Trailer is Out, and It’s Confusing AF

Before I say anything more, watch the incredible trailer.

Oh yeah, Kingsman: The Golden Circle is coming out soon. Hype!

Pretty much everyone loved the first Kingsman film, with its fancy English accents and spiffy suits, combined with the swagger and skill of James Bond turned up to 11. It’s basically what happens if you combine the gratuitous violence and over-the-top action of Quentin Tarantino films with the smooth coolness of spy flicks.

In other words, it was the perfect spy film.

The upcoming sequel seems to promise even more extreme ridiculous fun under the façade of clean suits and suave shades.

Remember the first film where we were introduced to the near-mystical abilities of the Kingsman, a highly-trained secret service comprising an elite team of agents who were basically Deadpool + James Bond?

In this new sequel, we are introduced to the American counterparts to the British Kingsman: the Statesman. Just like how the Kingsman embody some of the stereotypes associated with British secret agents (a la James Bond), the Statesman embody many American stereotypes as well.

Think cowboy hats and double-barrelled shotguns.

Right at the beginning of the trailer, the action explodes (quite literally) in our faces, as the Kingsman headquarters are blown up by a missile.

We’re then treated to quick-cut flashes of intense action sequences that feature both the Kingsman and the Statesman, and most of the reprising cast from the previous film.

Unfortunately, the whole trailer looks a little confusing, and all we could really gather was that the main antagonist is a lifestyle-guru-turned-terrorist bent on world domination, played by Julianne Moore.

Which is frankly more than enough to get me excited for the film.

At the end, however, the trailer drops a doozy of a teaser on us, with a shot of Harry Hart (played by Colin Firth), Eggsy’s mentor from the first film who was shot in the face.

Turns out, he somehow survived the gunshot in the noggin and is now back with a sweet eyepatch.

Can the film be any cooler??
