July’s set to be a goody month.

Not only is it the month of the Great Singapore Sale, it’s also my Aunt Mary’s birthday, which no one cares about.

But it’s also the month when the weirdest bubble tea thingy surfaced: from the viral image of bubble tea rice…

….to a fluffy pancake with bubble tea pearls.

Aunt Mary: But these happened in June and spilled over in July. My birthday’s on July, which is more legit.

Oh, Aunt Mary, hold your horses because in July, KOI is coming out with something as well…

…and for the first time, it doesn’t involve anyhowly throwing pearls into anything.

Introducing the Pop Pop Tea Latte:

Yeah, it’s a tea + coffee topped up with popcorn.

And we’re not talking about any popcorn. We’re talking about Garrett popcorn, the high-SES popcorn that you can smell from kilometres away.
