You Can Now Request for Same-Day Delivery of Some Lazada Orders
These days, our need for instant noodles and instant everything has changed how the market operates. Lazada and Grab understand this need and decided to cater to the public by teaming up.
As long as you have the moolah.
Now, you can get your packet of instant noodles instantly at a small price of S$3.19 onwards. The shipping fee is depending on how far the buyer is located from the seller’s store.
The maximum delivery distance is 30km so don’t try to order an item from China and expect it to reach your doorsteps within an hour.
Additionally, not all sellers are offering this option. As of now, there are over 50 Lazada sellers offering this instant delivery service. Some of the sellers include JBL, Shine Kora and Aroma Truffle.
Lazada is still in the process of expanding the pool of merchants offering this perk.
Shipping Fee
As mentioned, the maximum delivery distance is 30km and that will lead to a shipping fee of S$11.77. For those that are 5.01 to 10km away from the seller’s store, their shipping fee will be S$5.34.
While those that are 10.01km to 20km from the seller’s store, the shipping fee will be S$8.55. For 20.01km to the maximum delivery distance, the shipping fee will be S$11.77.
Do take note to have the items instantly appear on your doorsteps, you have to place the orders before 3pm. This service is also available on weekdays only, so that means you should not order your Christmas gifts at the last minute.
Instant Delivery
According to PwC’s June 2021 Global Consumer Insights Pulse Survey, it was revealed that consumers value “fast/reliable delivery” when shopping online.
A report by Mckinsey also shows that 20 to 25% of consumers are willing to fork out more moolah for same-day delivery.
Thus, Grab and Lazada took the bull by the horns and launched this. This launch is also a good thing for the partnership will also increase the earning opportunities for GrabExpress delivery partners.
