If you ever decided to get a pet, do not abandon it.
Otherwise, Karma will hunt you down. #justsaying
Doggo Waiting Sadly By The Roadside
According to a post by a Facebook user, Panithan Rattanathum, he was driving along the road of Doi Ang Khang Mountain (in Thailand) when he spotted a cute pup lying by the roadside.
The pup was seen with a little container by his side and appears to be waiting for someone to pick him up.
Panithan decided to bring the pup home as he was worried about its well-being. He then adopted the pup when he failed to find the former owner.
Lucky Ran Away
I don’t mean that the dog got lucky and ran way.
Panithan later named the dog “Lucky”, who decided to sneak out of the house a week later.
With the idea that his dog got stolen, Panithan filed a police report and handed out leaflets to locate his dog.
He even engaged a radio station to shoutout for him in hopes that someone would find his dog.
Back At Where He Was Abandoned
The very next day, Panithan received a call from his friend saying that he spotted Lucky.
Lucky was spotted at exactly where it was abandoned, Doi Aung Khang Hill, which is 21km away from Panithan’s house!
That’s one hell of a walk.
For someone who has a dog that refuses to even walk 2km, I can’t imagine how exhausted Lucky must have been to walk such a long distance.
Panithan then went ahead to pick Lucky up, who was warmly welcomed by the family again!
Be Responsible!
If you ever decided to get a pet, be responsible for your choice. It is always important to think it through before getting a pet as they require quite a bit of commitment.
Just like your whiny other half that requires attention and your love, pets do too.
I have been seeing so many cases of abandoned pets, and I can’t stress this enough.
If you ever face any unforeseen circumstance that is stopping you from taking care of your pets, look for someone trustworthy and responsible for your fur kids.
Do not leave them at some random HDB or roadside.
Abandoning them, and leaving a container of water for them does not make you a better human.
