Warning: If you ever want to eat food again, leave this page immediately.

Have you ever spotted a lizard scurrying across your wall at night and thought it’d look good on a cake?

Or have you ever stared at a family of cockroaches in your kitchen and wondered why they weren’t part of more desserts?

If your answer to either question was yes, congratulations: you are a sociopath.

In the past few years, especially since the emergence of social media, bakers have been doing all sorts of crazy things to make their cakes stand out.

Most of the time, this involves making their cakes look nothing like cakes.

In this instance, though, we have a perfectly normal cake, but with a few ‘decorative items’ on top.

Baker in M’sia Selling Birthday Cakes That Have Realistic Insects Like Cockroaches or Lizards

A baker in Malaysia has gone viral on Facebook after sharing images of their two latest creations, with one post garnering over 12,000 shares.

Why were their posts so popular? Well, have a look (preferably while you’re not eating):

Yes, it’s cake with some thicc lizards on it.

Oh, but that’s not all.

The baker also made a cake featuring scarily-realistic cockroaches. No cake is complete without cockroaches, as a wise philosopher once said.

Now, if you’re still on this page and haven’t expelled the contents of your stomach, let me go on to describe the cakes in vivid detail.

Lizard Cake

First up, we have the lizard cake.

As you can see, there a total of three lizards on this greyish, rotten-looking cake. Two younger lizard are perched on the side of the cake, showing off their ability to defy gravity.

Meanwhile, a rather fat and some would say juicy adult lizard lays on top, bigger than any gecko we’ve ever laid eyes on.

While you might not be fan of the aesthetic, one has to applaud the baker’s attention to detail; the lizard’s feet, for instance, are webbed, are their dark eyes are so lifelike they look like they could scamper away at any moment.

Cockroach Cake

And then we have everyone’s favourite insect: the cockroach.

The cockroach cake features four-and-a-half cockroaches on a cake that would otherwise look quite delectable.

Four cockroaches are crawling all over the cake while the other one seemed to have been mixed in with the batter and somehow survived being baked in the oven, as it’s burrowing its way out of the dessert.

The cakes are addressed to Boon Boon and Jessica, meaning someone actually purchased these abominations.

Boon Boon and Jessica are either two people with some very strange tastes, or the friends of some very cruel, cruel people.

In any case, if someone bought this cake for you, would you take a bite?
