Officer Suspended After Viral Video Shows Hotel Proposition During Traffic Stop

The incident occurred during a night patrol when the officer stopped the female motorcyclist. After being pulled over, the woman discreetly placed her phone in her motorcycle basket and began recording.

The video captures the officer asking, “Your place?”

The startled woman clarifies the question, then replies that there are many girls at her home to deflect the advance. The persistent officer then suggested going to his house instead.

When the woman replied that this would be embarrassing, he proposed a hotel.

Victim Initially Sought Police Report Before Going Viral

The woman initially intended to lodge a police report about the incident but changed her mind after allegedly being dismissed by authorities. She claimed police accused her of always going to clubs and said it was normal for men to invite her to check in.

“It pissed me off,” the woman stated in the video. “I left the station immediately. The next time we meet someone like this, let’s just make it viral.”

The video ends without showing the final outcome of the roadside encounter between the officer and the motorcyclist.

Azam is urging anyone involved in the video or anyone with additional information about the incident to come forward and assist with the investigation. The public can contact the Ampang Jaya police at 03-42897222 or reach out to the investigating officer, ASP Hida Hayati.
