21YO M’sian YouTuber Bought a Mercs & Big House With Her YouTube Earnings

Just 10 years ago, if you told your parents that your career plan was to be a YouTuber, they would have first laughed at you before flinging some rather stern words your way.

Now, in 2021, if you tell your parents you want to make a career on YouTube, they’ll react in the same way, but at least now you’ll have some evidence to show it may be a lucrative career choice.

Of course, amassing a large following and getting millions of views every day isn’t exactly easy, and you’ll need lots of luck in addition to mounds and mounds of hard work.

But, if you do manage to reach the top like one Malaysian YouTuber recently did, you can reward yourself with some rather fancy cars.

21YO M’sian YouTuber Bought a Mercs With Her YouTube Earnings

A 21-year-old Malaysian YouTuber recently purchased a luxury car with the money she earned from her videos.

The YouTuber, Findy Yong, has over 728,000 subscribers and more than 460,000 followers on her Instagram account.

The youth started her YouTube career when she was in Form 3, which is roughly the equivalent of Secondary 3 here.

This meant she began posting videos online when she was just 15 years old.

According to MothershipFindy had an interest in a career online from a young age, as she wanted to do online sales while in Primary 6.

Her parents weren’t supportive of her then, but they didn’t object to her career choice.

And it certainly seems to have paid off.

Recently, Findy announced in an Instagram post that she had bought her second car, a Mercedes-Benz.

“Congratulations to myself for getting my second car,” she said.

“This is also considered a 21st birthday present to myself, and to reward myself for all the hard work these past years. I have to work 100 times harder going forward!”

She also thanked her fans for their support:

“Thank you for growing up with me and there is still a lot to go in the future”.

Bought Huge House Last Year

Just a few months earlier, Findy made another lavish purchase: her first home.

She detailed the purchase in a video with her unsuspecting boyfriend.

She purchased the huge house for 1.9 million ringgit (S$622,711) back in October 2020.

So, What Does She Do?

Like many other YouTubers, Findy first made videos of food challenges and TikTok dance challenges as she was finding her feet in the new online terrain.

She then branched out and started sharing videos of her hamster, boyfriend, and her mum in a series of skits and pranks.

According to her stats, Findy’s videos have garnered over 98,700,000 views to date.

Speaking of successful online personality, did you know that during the Circuit Breaker period, one well-known online personality in Singapore also earned quite a bit by singing birthday songs?
