If youโve read the recent news, there isnโt much to be happy about.
Given how dogs and rabbits are being eaten again in China while dogs are being dyed to look like pandas, Iโve begun to think that animals have just become a play toy to us.
Just when all hope is lost, there comes along a heartwarming news to brighten up our gloomy day.

Man Builds DIY Wheelchairs for Handicapped Dogs
According to a viral Facebook post, there is a soldier in Thailand who builds DIY wheelchairs not for humans, but for dogs to regain their mobility.
This soldier goes by the name of Werechat โChatโ Sirisor, but is known as Jaa Chat to those in his village. He lives in the Sam Ngao District of the Tak province and works as a soldier for over eight years.
He often extends his duty beyond his occupation as a soldier and helps out his villagers regularly. He would bring them medicine, clothes, bedsheets and anything they may need.
โSaint Of The Valleyโ
Because of his compassion and generosity, the villagers have dubbed him as the โsaint of the valleyโ.
He isnโt your ordinary neighbour who helps you out every once in a while with your problems. He literally devotes his life to helping people.
Did I mention dogs as well? Thatโs right, he serves not only the people in his village, but also dogs too.
In his time off when he is not helping people or working, he would build DIY mini wheelchairs out of plastic pipes, harnesses, and wheels for dogs that have lost their legs.
Is someone chopping onions again? Because Iโm definitely not crying right now.

A Compassionate Heart
When asked why he chose to help these dogs, he said, โThey used to run and enjoy their life, but with a disability, they can feel stressed as theyโre not able to enjoy or even eat anymore.โ
He hopes that while his wheelchair canโt allow them to run, it would help to ease their pain and their feelings at the very least.
Due to the low cost of materials used, Jaa Chat is able to make many different versions of wheelchairs to suit the needs of each dog.
Additionally, he helps out with getting prosthetic fitted for locals with animals as well. All they have to do is to just contact him and heโll be helping in no time.
Not all heroes wear capes. In fact, this hero wears a smile on his face and a compassionate heart on his sleeves.
