Man Caught Red-handedly Repeatedly Asking For Money Coz He ‘Lost His Wallet’ at Sengkang

Most of us have been in the situation where a stranger comes up to us and asks for money, claiming that misfortune has befallen them. Like, you know, they’ve lost their wallets.

No matter how good-hearted or kind we may be, there’s always this small voice inside of us that sometimes wonders if they’re being dishonest.

And it’s exactly these types of people that have wired us to be doubtful and think this way:

Man Caught Red-handedly Repeatedly Asking For Money Coz He ‘Lost His Wallet’

I wonder how many times one person can lose their wallet and need to ask others for financial help within the span of a day.

According to Facebook page Singapore Atrium Sale, a man was allegedly spotted at Sengkang repeatedly asking strangers for money and claims to have lost his wallet (again and again and again).

He allegedly goes around asking for $4 and tells unsuspecting victims that he has lost his wallet.

The netizen who shared the story followed him around to observe his actions and noticed that he had “a stack of $2 notes in his pocket.”

“He goes around asking non-stop. In just less than 5 minutes, I have seen 3 giving him $4 out of 5 he asked.”

And no, our brave netizen wasn’t just a keyboard warrior taking sneaky photos to post later on social media.

He decided to confront him because he “couldn’t take it” anymore.

He went up to the suspect and confronted him but he only “walked off but remained in the area”.

What really did the trick was when our netizen told him that he is being featured on Facebook and showed him the number of shares. This prompted him to finally run off.
