Death is hard to accept, especially when a loved one passes.
One minute they’re there talking to you and laughing, and the next minute they’re gone, never to return again.
How is someone supposed to recover from that? Not everyone can, and sometimes we’ll do anything to get them back, even if it’s something extreme.
Man Dug Up His Mother’s Grave And Brought Her Corpse Back Home Because He Missed Her
One man in Jakarta did just that when he dug up his mum’s grave and brought her body back for two days.
According to Kompas, his mother’s corpse was buried 40 days ago at Kabupaten Probolinggo, East Java.
But after burying her, the young man, Nasir, missed his mother very much.
So, last Friday (Oct 11), he returned to his mother’s grave and decided to unearth it. After successfully digging, he brought his mother’s body back in a sack.
He then kept her in his house for two days.
But how did no one notice this?
According to one of the villagers in the area, Amin, Nasir’s mother’s grave was located in the middle of a forest which is usually deserted.
In fact, no one knew what Nasir had done until a video of Nasir re-burying his mother went viral last Sunday.
Convinced to re-bury
Sul, Nasir’s sister, found out two days later and convinced Nasir to re-bury his mother.
Nasir eventually agreed and they re-buried his mother’s corpse in the same location.
The police are putting the young man on surveillance for the time being to ensure he doesn’t pull the same stunt again.
Nasir defended himself, however, saying that he really missed his mother’s presence.
This move may seem extreme, but we have to understand that people can do irrational things when they’re in emotional pain. The loss of a parent can be incredibly distressing and even debilitating.
We hope that Nasir will be able to pull through this tough time and move on with his life, forever keeping his mother’s memory with him.
