It’s 2 November, and you know what that means:

It’s gonna be Christmas soon!

Indeed, as 25 December draws ever closer, one can’t help but imagine all the stuff they’re gonna get:

  • Christmas gifts
  • Stuffed turkey breasts
  • Grandmas in aprons
  • Christmas trees
  • Santa Claus’ jingle bells

And the list goes on and on and on and on and…

On.

Oh, who am I kidding? Christmas is so 2009, what with the same rendition occurring time and time again. I mean; there’re only so many times you can stomach getting the same gift twice in a year, and getting stuffed from stuffed turkey breasts.

But what to do, you ask. There’s no choice.

Well, look here, little buddy. Christmas is unofficially gone. It’s lame. In fact, why go for your Grandma’s little Christmas party, when you can go for…

A badass ride over at the Prudential Marina Bay Carnival 2019?

No, my fair ladies and gentlemen (who’re so sick of Christmas and its little balls- bells), I’m not kidding…

The carnival we’ve all been waiting for it is back.

The Return We’ve All Been Waiting For (even though we had no idea it’ll really happen)

Back in end-2017, the first instalment of the Prudential Marina Bay Carnival was introduced to the friendly citizens of Singapore, alongside 40 rides and booths.

As it turns out, the event was a huge success, drawing 250,000 people in the opening week and seemingly going from strength to strength in the following months. The carnival eventually ended in April this year.

But just when it was about to slip off everyone’s mind, big news emerged:

The carnival’s back for a second outing, and this time…

There will be at least 50 different games and rides.

While details have been stingingly sparse, it has been confirmed that the carnival will run for a total of 4 months, from 22 December 2018 to 24 March 2019.

The event will be opened from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily, with extended hours till 2:00 a.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. *Insert image*

Unfortunately, I do not have pictures to show you how this year’s event will look like, and so here are a few images of last year’s event for your perusal.

And that’s not all

If you recall, just a while back, Disney Tsum Tsum made a much-publicised appearance at VivoCity’s SkyPark.

And while the lanterns were no doubt gratifying, there was just one minor drawback to the event:

It was too short.

As such, there were one too many sad faces when the event ended, just six days after it started.

But thankfully, it seems that our short-lived experience wasn’t the end, as Disney Tsum Tsum is all set for a comeback at Marina Bay.

Held from 2 Nov 2018, to 6 Jan 2019, the event will be at the Flower Dome and will feature familiar Disney faces such as Chip & Dale, Olaf and Dumbo. There will also be fairy lights, baubles, Christmas berries and Mickey and friends adorning the tallest live Christmas tree in the dome.

But hold up, because unlike the previous event.
