Wherever and whenever a fight takes place these days, someone will always be there to film it.
Anyone who’s been to a coffee shop after 10pm would know that fights do take place routinely in Singapore.
But thanks to social media, we now know they occur much more often than we thought.

One such fight took place last night, and this time, it turned bloody.
Massive Fight With Stabbing Occurred Last Night at Clarke Quay
A massive fight occurred at Clarke Quay last night, with some of the combatants involved in an alleged stabbing as well.
Blood was seen all over the area of the clash, which was surrounded by onlookers and police officers.
As always, details of the fight are unclear yet. A video of the incident was shared in a Facebook post on Saturday (19 Dec).
The video starts out with two groups of people screaming some incoherent but menacing-sounding things at each other.
One bare-bodied man then rushes toward the crowd, and a few moments later, a woman starts shrieking at the top of her lungs: “F**king hell!”, as the bare-bodied man leaves the area.
Our view is blocked by a group of observers who stood in front of the cameraperson, but the alleged stabbing could have taken place at this point.

Another man then comes from nowhere and races to the area of the skirmish, and the bare-bodied man follows him.
The woman screams the whole time, possibly due to the pain of an injury or because someone she knows got badly injured.
Two onlookers jump in to intervene, but it’s unclear what happens next, as the fight happens off-screen.
A group of people then leave the area of the fight, and one particularly enraged man shouts some expletives at someone far away from the scene of the incident.
The camera then pans briefly to the area of the fight, where it appears that two people are tending to someone who is laying on the floor, possibly injured from the clash.

Police Arrive, Blood Seen Everywhere
Some time later, police officers arrive on the scene and can be seen grappling with a man in a red T-shirt who refuses to calm down and continues to shout vulgarities at someone behind the group of police officers.
In a separate video posted on YouTube, medical personnel can be seen attending to a man lying on the floor as well as a crying woman on his right, who appears to be surrounded by her friends, tending to her injury.
The floor was also splattered with blood, supporting the claim that one of the combatants was stabbed.
More images and videos have since been shared online, showing police officers and a mass of observers encircling the injured individuals.
As previously mentioned, specifics of the melee are unknown, but more details are certain to come to light once the authorities have carried out their investigations.
