Healthcare workers deserve a LOT of appreciation and praise for their hard work during the tough times of the Covid-19 outbreak.
Since January, Singapore’s healthcare staff have been working above and beyond to treat patients of the coronavirus, to ensure that they recover as soon as possible.
And they’re definitely doing a great job at it, as 144 cases have fully recovered from the virus and been discharged from the hospital.
So, in order to thank these hardworking doctors and nurses, Marina Bay Sands Singapore is rewarding them with some irresistible offers.
50% Off At These Restaurants For Healthcare Workers
From 17 Mar all the way till 30 Jun 2020, healthcare workers are entitled to receiving 50% off their total bill at some of Singapore’s favourite high-end restaurants.
The restaurants included in this Marina Bay Sands promotion are:
- Adrift
- Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer
- Bread Street Kitchen
- Club55
- CUT
- db Bistro & Oyster Bar
- LAVO Italian Restaurant & Rooftop Bar
- KOMA
- Renku Bar & Lounge
- RISE
- Spago Bar & Lounge
- Spago Dining Room
- Yardbird Southern Table & Bar.
It is valid for dine-in orders only, and guests are also entitled to one complimentary parking coupon for every four diners.
To enjoy this promotion, healthcare works simply have to present valid proof of their employment with photo identification. They must be dining with the group to enjoy the discount.
All the restaurants listed above require guests to make a reservation and indicate “MBS SG STRONG F&B promotion” prior to their visit, with the exception of Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer.
This promotion is applicable to reservations with a maximum of twelve diners, and it is not applicable to private dining, private events and large group bookings.
Who Can Enjoy This Promotion?
In case you’re wondering who all fall under the category of “healthcare workers” and are able to enjoy this offer, it refers to employees of:
- Hospitals
- Clinics
- Home Care Facilities
- SCDF (Singapore Civil Defence Force)
- SPF (Singapore Police Force)
- Emergency Medical Services / Ambulance Services
So if you work in any of these places, it’s time to treat yourself to a sinful Black Tap milkshake or take in the gorgeous view from LAVO on the 57th floor.
This makes me wish I was a healthcare worker because most of this food does not come cheap.
The milkshake in the picture above already costs at least 20 dollars.
But I think we can all agree that these healthcare workers certainly deserve the treat, especially since they have been working hard for over two months now since the Covid-19 outbreak started in Singapore.
So if you know anyone who’s a healthcare worker, make sure you share this article with them!
Restaurants Are Taking Safety Measures
MBS has taken precautionary measures in light of the Covid-19 situation, such as suspending their nightly night and water show, Spectra and closing MARQUEE nightclub until further notice.
Many restaurants in MBS are now taking the temperatures of their customers at the entrance, staggering reservations and setting tables further away from one another to practise social distancing.
Some of them have also made changes to their operating hours and days, like KOMA AND Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer.
These measures were into place in most restaurants after the Ministry of Health (MOH) announced a series of safe distancing measures to reduce the risk of local spread of Covid-19.
F&B establishments are required to comply with these measures, and if they do not, they could be ineligible for government grants and loan assistance in the future.
