The Golden Arches are back in Singapore at Changi Airport Terminal 2 (T2).

McDonald’s Reopens at Changi Airport T2
We are calling all travellers who are arriving at or departing from T2. You can now grab a quick bite at the McDonald’s T2 outlet at Changi Airport.
The official Facebook page for Changi Airport happily announced that the fast-food chain is now in operation.
Located at Changi Airport T2 Arrival Hall, the outlet returned “to the same spot at the arrival hall” it occupied before its closure in 2020.
Back in 2020, while Singapore was still grappling with the COVID-19 pandemic, the outlet at T2 closed after 16 years of operations at the T2 arrival hall.
Speaking to Mothership, McDonald’s revealed that it closed due to the renovation works planned for T2 at that time. As The Straits Times reported, the renovations include new “check-in counters, and automated check-in kiosks and bag-drop machines”.

According to the official Changi Airport Facebook post, the new outlet is a “blend of elegance and playful twists at the new outlet with a unique store design concept”.
Images attached to the post showed a cool and swanky interior design with ample seating for all those looking to spend some time before catching their flights.
The outlet provides a mix of countertop seats and tables for a pleasant dining experience.
Decorations on the wall include paintings using a warm colour scheme, featuring part of the well-known Golden Arches and the iconic McDonald’s smile you see on every Happy Meal.
There are also automated kiosks installed for patrons to order at their convenience without queueing up at the counter.
The outlet appeared to have been popular based on the pictures shared by Changi Airport, with many patrons milling around waiting for their food.
