(Editor’s note: We have been informed that there is a first part of the story that was not revealed. This article will be updated once further information is known.)

Sun Tze once said this: the best defence is the best offence.

But does that really work in real life?

This man finds out for us.

On 12 April 2019, Facebook user Donn Poh took to Facebook to talk about his interesting experience with a Mercedes driver.

His car was stationary when a Mercedes reversed into his car.

The lady in white is allegedly the wife of the Mercedes driver and she appeared very apologetic about the entire incident.

Poh then got out of his car to inspect the damage.

However, the Mercedes driver showcased his determination to parallel-park his car properly, almost knocking into Poh’s legs.

Man Emerged ‘Angsty & Aggressive’

According to Poh, when the Mercedes driver emerged from his expensive car, he wasn’t apologetic at all.

He was aggressive and angsty.

According to STOMP, Poh said that he was expecting the Mercedes driver to be more apologetic.

But the man “started shouting & screaming vulgarities” at him.

The man had, at one point, even said, “I want to bang you so what can you do?”

(Wah, this one level 99)

In addition, Poh claimed that the Mercedes driver reeked of alcohol.

In the end, Poh gave in as he had his 19-month-old son and pregnant wife in the car with him.

The man refused to wait for the police to arrive and walked off into the sunset with his wife.

It wasn’t known what happened before the footage started.

A Civil Case? A Criminal Case?

When the police arrived, Poh claimed the police officers who arrived told him that there was nothing they could do.

It was a civil case, they claimed.

However, when Poh went to his lawyer, he was informed that he had no case in the civil court.

He updated his Facebook post after, saying that the nature of the case has been verified.

It’s a criminal case of committing a rash act. The case is now under investigations.

You can read the Facebook post here.

Moral of the Story:

Cameras are everywhere in Singapore, including cars, CCTV, STOMPers, etc.

With the new laws in place regarding internet CSI, make sure you don’t get overenthusiastic and hunt the driver down. Or worse, reveal his details on the internet.

Or you might just get into hot soup.

This and it’s important to have an operating dashboard camera in your car. Yes @prettychiobu89, I’m talking about you.
