Michelle Yeoh’s Announcement: From Marriage to Grandmotherhood
Michelle Yeoh, a source of pride for Malaysia, boasts an illustrious career in the film industry.
The martial arts trained actress is most well-known for her roles in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000), Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) and more recently, Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022).
Her invigorating performance as Evelyn in the seven-time Oscar winning film, Everything Everywhere All At Once, created history by making her the first Asian woman to clinch an Academy Award for Best Actress.
Beyond the glitz of her career, Yeoh’s personal life has been equally exciting.
In 2023, she tied the knot with her fiancé of 19 years, Jean Todt. The romantic journey began in 2004 when Todt proposed just a month after they met.
However, their hectic careers led to the postponement of their matrimony, spanning almost two decades.

Yeoh Shared a Picture of a Baby, Causing Confusion amongst Fans
Yeoh posted a picture of a baby’s foot on Instagram one day ago (2 January 2024), expressing her joy and gratitude for the baby’s New Year’s arrival.

Her post was filled with congratulatory comments, leaving fans bewildered about her sudden motherhood. She had just gotten married, and was never pregnant, so netizens were confused.
Furthermore, Yeoh had previously revealed that her first marriage with businessman Dickson Poon, ended due to her being unable to have kids.
However, she swiftly clarified the confusion by announcing that she was now a grandmother through a separate Instagram post a few hours later.

She extended her heartfelt appreciation to her stepson, Nicolas, and daughter-in-law, Darina, for making her and her husband grandparents.

Nicolas is Todt’s son from a previous marriage.
Another photo captioned “love love love” showcased the happy family, including her husband, stepson, daughter-in-law, and the newest addition to their clan.
