Cat: I mean, I’m a cat, so-
Monkey: Yeah I’m a cat person, too.
Cat: Congratulations.
Monkey: Yup… so I was wondering if I could take you away and carry you around with me while I explore the world?
Cat: I’m sorry I don’t think-

Catnapping

The above conversation might not have taken place, but the actions have.

Policemen in Thailand were alerted to a ‘catnapping’ case on 31 August 2019.

The suspect was an incredibly cuddly monkey and the victim was a tiny black and white kitten.

In a Facebook post, Chan Dfc shared pictures of a monkey carrying a kitten around like one of its babies.

There’s even a video of the ‘catnapping’, where the monkey tries to flee the scene as soon as it realizes it’s being recorded.

Police believe that this isn’t the monkey’s first catnapping, and for all we know, the cat’s the monkey’s dinner.

I’m kidding, of course. The monkey meant no harm to the adorable kitten. It even tried to feed the feline a banana and helped peel it.

The problem is that cats are fussy eaters. I mean, have you ever seen a cat at a restaurant? Exactly.

So, it meowed in hunger instead of eating the peeled banana.

For those who aren’t convinced of the monkey’s good intentions, have a look at how it hugs and cuddles the kitten tight with the love and affection we all wish we had in our lives.

Animals constantly remind us of how beautiful they are with the way they treat their own and even other species.

We should all try to be more like this monkey. Don’t fling your poop at people or force them to hug you, just show more affection to the people in your lives.

As this odd couple demonstrates, cuddling is a magical thing.

And also, this tells us something: monkeys, too, can’t resist the cuteness of cats.
