An accident involving a car, a trailer truck and a motorcycle on the Kranji Expressway (KJE) on Tuesday morning, 27 October, claimed the life of a 47-year-old male rider.
The accident occurred along the KJE towards the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE), near the Woodlands exit. Police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) were alerted at about 7:20am.
SCDF said a paramedic pronounced the rider dead at the scene.

Exit Closed Following Accident
In a traffic alert issued at 7:37am, the Land Transport Authority listed the BKE (Woodlands) exit as closed because of the accident.
Mothership reported that footage posted online showed traffic cones cordoning off part of the road, with an ambulance and a fire engine ahead of the trailer.
Police investigations are ongoing.
