Most of us are aware that running an F&B business is no simple task.
Aside from the immense cost of rentals and hiring manpower, you’d also have to practice the patience level of a sage based within a sacred mountain when dealing with unreasonable customers.
But at times, bad customers tend to make for good stories. In this case, a detailed foodpanda order made in Penang has left netizens split on whether to laugh or cry.
Deliver Order Had Ten Requests Made For Three Packets of Chicken Rice
The photo of the foodpanda order was shared in the Penang Chatting Station Facebook group:
The list of demands for the chicken rice said the following:
- The chicken leg must have no bones. Eating the bones will hurt my teeth.
- Chill was really nice, (I want) 9 bags, thank you.
- More spring onions. Must be fresh. Stale spring onions eaten will cause discomfort.
- Pack the sauce separately. Drizzling it on the rice will make the rice go soggy.
- Do not use paper packaging to pack the rice. Or else it will taste awful.
- I hope you can give me some asam soup. Previously, you gave me some—I want three packets thank you.
- Can you give me one chicken feet to try?
- Remember to give me spoons.
- Please finish my order in five minutes, because we are all starving to death.
- Thank you for your co-operation.
For context, each packet of chicken rice in this order costs about RM7.40 or SGD $2.35.
The kicker for this post however was the request made for the marinated eggs:
- Want eggs laid by roosters. I’ve heard eggs laid by roosters are much nicer to eat.
(Aside from chicken rice, maybe the person who made the order will also need a side of Biology class.)
Netizen Reactions To Detailed Order

Others were more amused at the fact that the customer requested specifically for rooster eggs to be used to make the eggs.
(FYI ah, roosters cannot lay eggs. Only hens can do that.)
The remaining expressed their disdain for this order by commenting in a variety of uh, colourful, language on the original Facebook post.
