Me when I bump into an ex of mine:
“Oh my God friends let’s turn around and go”
And then slowly turning your head to check if they are still behind you.

It’s like there’s a sixth sense for exes. You know that they are there before you see them.
But in all honesty, once you have gotten over the initial awkwardness of the situation, it isn’t that bad of an experience.
Just look at this man here who attended his ex’s wedding.
Attending Ex-Girlfriend’s Wedding
Hanis (@theroutinesya) uploaded a video of her friend attending his ex-girlfriend’s wedding ceremony.
The what could have been a painfully awkward moment for the bride and the groom was avoided when the groom gave a peace sign to his bride’s ex.
Here’s the tweet along with the video.
member sedih ex dah kahwin. husband ex pulak buat lek angkat ✌🏼. panas hati member.

Offered A Handshake
Initially, it was as if the man was trying to look away and avoid eye contact with the bride and the groom.

Must have been really awkward and uncomfortable for him.
His face literally screams “get me out of here hahahaahaha I am dying of awkwardness hahahahaa”
He then slowly turns around and make eye contact with the groom.
A peace sign was what he got.
The reaction from the bride?

Clearly she was shooked. Might not have expected her ex to be there.
After the peace sign, the ex embraced the situation. He had his hand out for a handshake with his ex-girlfriend’s new husband.
Got to be honest… wasn’t entirely sure if he would have accepted the handshake.
But… he did.
Yes, the tunnel brothers matured boys shook hands like champs.

Turn Out Better Than The Others
I’m glad that there was peace at this wedding.
If her ex was another man, he might not have been too welcoming of the idea of seeing her getting married to another man.
Like how this man pulled up to his ex-girlfriend’s wedding car and begs for her to not get married.
He even tried to kiss the bride-to-be.
I guess the moral of the story here is to be the bigger man… unless you want to look like a desperate fool or a salty ex.
