90’s kids would’ve known what it’s like to have a date with a vampire.

Heartbreaking, dumb and yet, addictive.

It’s been over 2 decades since the iconic series, which spanned three seasons, ended.

So what are the stars up to now and how do they look like, especially 90’s guys’ goddess, Ma Xiao Ling (马小玲)?

Turns out, she’s still as gorgeous as ever.

Just over a week ago, a YouTuber uploaded a video showing a series of then-vs-now images of the cast in My Date With A Vampire.

And oh boy, were we surprised.

It seems that there might’ve been a couple of real vampires among the cast, given how time has stopped for them.

Joey Meng Yee Man (Born: 1970)

Well, well, well. First up is our lead protagonist of the show, Ma Xiao Ling (Joey Meng Yee Man).

Looking at the 2021 picture, can you imagine she’s actually 50 years old?!

Either she’s used her superpowers to make herself eternally youthful or she’s succumbed to her beloved vampire desires and became one herself.

Kristy Yang Kung Yu (Born: 1974)

Next up is the second goddess in the entire series, Wang Zhen Zhen (Kristy Yang Kung Yu).

While she might have matured from her 1998 looks, you got to admit that she looks great for a 47-year-old.

Kenneth Chan Kai-tai (Born: 1964)

Sometimes, it’s good to be evil.

After all, if the consequence of being evil is looking like that when you’re 56 years old, it’s not all that bad, is it?

Pinky Cheung (Born: 1971)

While some of her fellow cast members have stopped ageing, or at least slowed down, it seems that time has flowed back for Pinky Cheung.

If you saw her on the streets, would you believe that she’s 49 years old?

No wrinkles…at age 60. How?!

Alice Chan Wai (Born: 1973)

Last, but not least, Alice Chan. Similar to Pinky Cheung, time seems to have made her look better as it passes.

These are, of course, just the tip of the iceberg. You can watch the video below to see the rest of the casts, which time hasn’t exactly been kind to:

But hey, you win some, you lose some, right?

90’s kids, who’s your favourite cast member out of the entire season?
