Recently, Nas Daily has been making headlines with news of him moving to our little red dot with his blogger girlfriend, Alyne Tamir.

He plans to live, and more importantly, start his new company – the Nas Daily Media Company, here.

TODAY reported that Nas’ goal was to “get a whole big office right next to the Facebook office in the big Marina (One) Tower…” meaning that he had plans to relocate to Singapore sooner or later.

In case you haven’t heard, Nas Daily has confirmed his move but it seems that not all Singaporeans are thrilled about it. Read all about it in our previous post.

Nas, Nas, Nas…

Whether you like it or not, here’s another article dedicated to the man himself.

Game On, 99.co

In light of his relocation to Singapore, an online property portal called 99.co has challenged Nas Daily and his girlfriend to “find their dream home in Singapore” via their site.

On 25 March 2019, 99.co posted a video on their Facebook page fronted by Jeff Koh, director of sales and complete with a write-up on their blog.

Both platforms were used by 99.co to invite Nas Daily and his girlfriend to take up said challenge.

If all goes well for the couple, 99.co has offered to “pay for up to three months of housing rent” not exceeding a total of S$15K.

Unless Nas Daily and his team intends to stay in a mansion, that shouldn’t be a problem.

I mean, this entire landed property (yes, the entire house) that is 2800sqft with three floors is going for $5,000 a month and it has six rooms . Moreover it’s near Kovan MRT Station so they can even take the MRT!

Oh, did I mention that there’s a lift in the house?

Why would they not –

Challenge Accepted

Well, of course.

A few hours later, Alyne (Nas’s girlfriend) accepted the challenge and mentioned that they were already attempting to find a place to stay via their website.

Of course, 99.co isn’t the only one looking for Nas.

Propertyguru, are you listening?

Nas Daily to enter Singapore via Entrepreneur Permit

TODAY reported that Nas will be on a one-year-long work permit called EntrePass which “allows foreign entrepreneurs to start a business in Singapore.”

While Nas Daily will be able to cut some costs during his time in Singapore, Mothership has reminded him that he would have to declare his agreement with 99.co under a requirement by the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS), because anything that’s given to “blogger” must be taxed mah.

The couple are expecting to arrive in Singapore by 20 April 2019.

With less than a month to complete the challenge with 99.co, the duo’s race to find their dream house is on.

Nas Daily

Yahoo Singapore recently conducted an online poll to gather Singaporean’s feedback on Nas Daily’s move.

No surprise, the majority of Singaporeans (56%) who took the poll were against the idea of him entering our sunny island. But then again, remember: haters are often online, so yeah.

If you’re part of the 17% who hasn’t heard of Nas Daily, here’s a brief overview of him:

Nuseir Yassin is a travel vlogger who is known to challenge himself to make 1-minute videos every day which are then uploaded under his moniker, “Nas Daily”.

His videos usually highlight the good in countries he visits and raises awareness of the lesser-known happenings.

A Love-Hate Relationship

While Nas has received praises, the 27 year old Palestinian-Israeli had his fair share of nasty comments from locals.

All because of his videos which mainly highlighted the good in Singapore

While some accuse him of getting sponsored, he could’ve simply chose to see the good in everything.

As evident from his reply to a comment:

This was further supported by TODAY, which mentioned that “the main point of his videos is to highlight the best aspects of every country he visits, and to share those with a global audience.”

With that said, we can’t wait to see what their ideal house looks like.

Now, if they stay in an HDB, that would be epic.
