New Video Shows Green Car Rolling Over 69YO E-Biker After Maserati Accident at Cantonment Road

Lest you’re unaware, an unfortunate accident happened on Sunday morning (5 January) at around 5am.

A 69-year-old woman riding an e-bike was killed, and images online show a red Maserati stopped in the middle of the road, with it facing the direction of traffic.

The incident happened in Cantonment Road near Pinnacle @ Duxton.

It was reported yesterday that the 25-year-old driver of the Maserati was arrested for dangerous driving causing death.

Eyewitnesses had then allegedly claimed that the driver was drunk and slammed into the victim who was crossing the traffic light. They also claimed that soon after, another car ran over the victim and sped off.

Today, a new video emerged and it seems like the eyewitnesses were right.

Early this morning at 12:10am, a Facebook user posted a video that’s been automatically covered by Facebook due to its gory contents.

In it, it shows the victim lying on the road with the red Maserati beside it.

The victim is motionless and all of a sudden, a green car drove over the victim in high speed, dragging the victim a few metres away.

The car did not stop and flee the scene.

According to the police, the green car, a Honda, has been towed away.

However, there has been no further arrest, and investigations are still ongoing.

Woman Was a Cancer Fighter

According to Shin Min Daily News, the victim lived near the area and ran a provisions shop in Chinatown. She was also a cleaner and a laundry attendant.

Her brother said in an interview with the Chinese daily that the woman was diagnosed with breast cancer just three months ago, and was undergoing chemotherapy.
